 Cairns and District  Rugby Union 2009 season has started.

 Our Cairns Thunder Rep Team this Year.

The Cairns Thunder Representative team played in a new State Cup format.  We were pitted against clubs from other centres including Brisbane teams.  There was a lot of travelling for the boys and the score did not always go their way but the last game against Rockhampton was a success after the biggest road team of any team in the competition.  Great going boys and thanks to the coaching and mangement staff for their efforts.

Time to regroup and organise an early start to next year.
